While the LEON celebrates love for design and nature, we also challenged ourselves to revitalize the hotel in the most sustainable and conscious way we could. For us, it’s a journey about being better, not perfect. The climate crisis is real and the impacts of our actions undeniable, and while this frightens us, it drives us to work harder on our journey towards sustainability. It’s a firm but simple respect for nature that lies at the heart of everything we do at LEON.
Drinkable tap water
In order to minimize plastic waste and maximize the comfort of your stay, the water that flows from the tap is drinkable.
We offer filtered water through our zip taps and refillable jugs in all the rooms and bungalows.
LEON Crafts
LEON has carefully selected handmade furniture and decorations that ultimately lead to this fusion of cultural design. We have given free rein to our creativity and created a combination of classical Balinese architecture and modern, artistic furniture.
It was essential for us to consider the outstanding local craftsmanship for which Ubud is known and appreciated worldwide.
All furniture, decorations, and constructions were made and sourced by people from Ubud.
Regional bath amenities
We have abandoned single-use, disposable bath products and replaced them with refillable dispensers and beautiful bath products from Çantika Zest with native ingredients.
Herb garden
To banish herbs packaged in plastic, we planted our own herb garden. These herbs add the finishing touch to our delicious breakfast.
